I assume coins will be the prominent/only means of money per usual fantasy rpgs.
Sticking with copper, silver, gold, platinum or changing it up?
Maybe slivers, crescents, halfs and full...all lunas? Sticking with the moon based theme?
Or random terms: Rands, Solars, Cuts, Claws, Tokens as a few options

Gold coin is a sun?
Silver coin is a moon?
Platinum could be a star
Not sure about a copper
But the colors would make sense.
Regardless of system, I think sticking to a base ten, decimal system should be done.

Sun/Sola, Moon/Luna, Star/Stella all sound good to me...for copper perhaps Terra/Earth/Arcanos or something of the sort?

I once stopped by an inn and for a few Terra's I purchased some ale. After the ale, I purchased a room with some Luna's. After sleeping a few days, I decided I needed some new armor for the tourney for a few Sola's. I then won the tourney as expected and got a bunch of Stellas. I spent the Stellas on horses, whores, and bling.
I like the sound of it.
