I'm going to try and explain my idea for this thread...
Once characters are "approved and posted" if anyone wants to do any in-game backstory banter between characters (when we met, some random conversations during various jobs, etc) I feel like this would be the place to do so. It would help add to our backstories and flavor of our characters but I view it more as something to pass the time with characters before we get into the actual game waiting for others to finish...thoughts?
About to post this I realize most of this can be done via messaging rather than a thread but what the hey with a thread others get to see it!

Lucy wanders around town aimlessly, Lumi constantly flying slightly above Lucy's head, slightly behind. To someone who has never seen Lucy before, it might appear as if she had a halo, when in fact Lumi was "just" a ball of literal positive energy, providing illumination within a very short distance. Lucy cheerfully greeted everyone she passed by with various phrasing such as, "Light be with you", "Walk in The Light", "Enlightening day isn't it". As Lucy is walking down some random street with no goal in mind she notices an alleyway...bathed in...shadow...she dashes over to the alleyway and calls upon The Light to banish the shadows. Oh Glorious and Brilliant Light cast away this vile darkness and let Your Glory shine for all to see!! Lucy casts Light on the alleywall
Lucy continues to saunter and skip through town...maybe she'll run into someone she knows...maybe she won't only The Light guides her...
This was just an example of an in game post...if anyone has a completed character and wants to jump in feel free to do so, if not thats fine too, this just serves an example  |

Cade was minding his own business one afternoon relaxing in the shade of an alleyway, shifted into dog form. Nothing better to do on a hot day. Just as he was about to take a nap some random person runs over and starts yelling
"Something something The Light something else darkness!
Then there was a brilliant flash and the cool previously dim alley was bathed in light. Cade ended his shift and addressed this strange person, " Hey, I was about to take a nap, do you always run around blinding people like that? "

Lucy jumped back, startled that there was someone in the alley, however she regained her composure and spoke to this stranger, "Sorry, not sorry, stranger, I did not mean to blind you by The Light, I was just all revved up banishing the night! Do you always sleep where shadows can overtake you at any second? You must be vigilant for shadows seem to come out of nowhere! My name is Lucy Lightbringer. Whats your name?"
She paused for a second then continues, "No Lumi I didn't forget about you, how could I? This energetic little ball of energy is Lumi" She presents a ball of energy, that seems to be part of her but still separate.

Stretching, Cade responds "I like to sleep where it is cool, preferably outside, and the shade usually is both. I don't know about this whole shadows thing, there were tons of shadows where I used to live, and nothing bad ever came of it. You can call me Fox. What brings you to this village Lucy, and what, may I ask is a Lumi? I have never seen one before."

"Nice to meet you Fox. Lumi is a being of radiant and positive energy. A physical manifestation of The Light. She and I can communicate but apparently nobody else can hear her. She is always shining and reminding me to live in The Light, isn't she great?! I'm here because I wander. I travel from village to village bringing The Light for all Arcanos to see. Sometimes it gets rough on my own thought. No Lumi I didn't forget about you of course I didn't actually mean on my own I meant on our own but Fox here probably doesn't care about the difficulties we've had, he looks like he's traveled alone too. Lumi I don't think he...do you think he...you do think he would? Ok I'll ask."
She gives you a strange look and asks, "Mr. Fox, would you like to travel with us? Unless you have something more important going on, which you probably do you look like the important kind of person who doesn't want to talk about how important they are. See Lumi I told you he wouldn't want to do it."
She begins to turn away...

"You know it would be nice to not be traveling alone." Cade says with a shrug. " It has been a while since I spent time with other people, and we were kind of hermits so don't expect me to fit in. But yea, I think traveling together could be interesting."

"Its okay you don't need to...wait you said okay?" She begins to jump up and down grabbing Fox's hands to spin around jumping with him "Yay we have a friend to travel with Lumi, it won't be just us anymore, you're right of course this was a great idea, The Light has truly blessed us this day!"
