Cartbeetles are enormous insects that were bred long ago in the southern kingdoms to serve as forms of transportation. When they breed, An enormous sac forms inside of them. When the sac leaves their body, due to their eggs hatching, the cavern remaining serves as an ideal carriage. There is an open space near the front to control the beetle with reins, and the sac can fold down in the summer to leave behind an open top. the interior is hardened, not unlike wood, and ridged along the edge, forming comfortable seats for passengers. there is room for about six travelers, plus the driver. Cartbeetles eat plant matter.
