As soon as there is mention of duck, any line of thought on figuring out what is going on is lost and Cade responds "Duck?, Ill take two."

Alain chats amiably while keeping a weather eye on his gambling compatriots. If the man reveals to him something he considers a useful morsel, he might even relate the tale of the end of the Shadow Gang.

Jarke holds up 2 fingers towards the bar, "2 more of the red wine."
Jarke turns back to Lorah. "I enjoy a good book now and again, but a bookkeeper?" Jarke laughs, "Believe it or not, but I'm actually a Dragonborn prophet, the second coming of Jarek."
Jarke looks over to read Lorah's expression and seeing as she doesn't stop him he continues. "I was born Jarkodon, after my parents had heard the stories of an ancient Dragonborn hero by the name of Jarek. While he was revered by Dragonborn, he was equally famous among your kind after a series of heroic deeds that saved the known world. I felt so connected to Jarek that I was compelled to search him out. Upon finding his resting place, a man changed me, I became filled with Jarek's will and I realized what I must do. I must become an ambassador of Jarek and all he stood for; justice, strength, bravery, and break down the walls of racism. The more I grow, the more I accomplish all that Jarek stood for."
Jarke realizes he's been rambling. "So, um, I guess I would say I'm not really in any sort of business besides my own."
"But enough about me, what brings you here, what's your story?"

Alain:
The man introduces himself:
Well, my goodman, I am Tak Al'Moonsilver. I've such interest in the happenings in Arcanos, because I work for....well, a man of substantial means, whose interest are my business, you see. If such oddities might be, well, of use to him, I explore them, and bring back what I can.
Such as? Glad you asked. Well, hrm, an example might be best. Presently, I am seeking out a story of the fabled fanged, reoccurring nightmare creature told to us as children.
Yes, a Troll. The thing is, trolls, well, if trolls are real, well, real trolls, living trolls, are hard to acquire. From what I gather, it's either burn them good and dead, or perish yourself. Have you any experience with trolls goodman?
Fox
Many more random patrons start filtering into the bar and also order the dinner. The staff seems to triple, as the crowd doubles. A young, busty serving girl questions an order of two for just one person, but a patron tells her you were a bloody damn bear not but an arn ago. Your feast of duck is magnificent.
Jarke
Lorah converses with you, she seems very intrigued by Jarek and your people. She asks several questions. She also states:
My business? Well, I am in search of an old...acquaintance. Last time he was here, he caused an....issue for me. He's difficult to find, so I thought I head back to the last place he is known to have been. Perhaps you have heard of him, Ingram the Necromancer?
Lucy
Lucy, the one sola ante was for each game you played last series. You lost about 5 sola. Pearl and Donnie agree to raise the stakes to 10 sola ante. Give me a handful of rolls for the games. Also, Pearl and Donnie talk a lot during play, so questions and comments seem welcome.

Lucy happily chats with Pearl and Donnie. She will ask about the festival going on tomorrow and as visitors to the town if there is anything expected of them. She also mentions The Light whenever feasible, through references to cards, the inn, life in general. Lucy doesn't have anything to hide so if asked questions about herself or her past she answers truthfully.

I must admit I have no direct experience with Trolls. However, I can confirm their existence, as my master once had to deal with one. His information concerning them matches your own. Burn them with fire, or they regenerate before your eyes. There can be no attempt at holding them, as there is an intelligence to them. If one should get free, the result would be catastrophic.

Jarke is happy to talk to Lorah about any questions she may inquire about Dragonborn. When Jarke hears about Lorah's business he responds as such...
"Necromancer? Can't say I know that name, but as I said before, it's my business to help further my reputation so perhaps I can help. Have you asked the staff yet? Pearl seems to have the pulse of this place pretty well."
Jarke hesitates "I do hope you or a loved one is not undead, you'd have to tell me if you were. I'll still help all the same. But I know some in our party may look down on that sort of thing"
Jarke looks at Lucy specifically.

Jarke
I do so much appreciate the offer for aid. There is no undead involved. Ingram took the life of my brother many years back. It is my hope to return the favor. He's a dark, dreadful man Jarke, I would greatly appreciate your aid in helping me, this world, be rid of such a terrible force.
Lorah uses her feminine wiles to emphasize her coercion.
Alain
Tak orders a sniffer of brandy and offers to buy you one. It's potent, its deep oak aged taste notes it as most likely Cangoc.
I see Alain. Well, I've some items which might aid in the capture of such creature, but not the manpower. Its good reliable adventurers that I am in need of goodman. You wouldn't happen to know any brave enough...or desperate enough for some good coin for such a deal, would you?
Lucy
Lucy manages to hold her own in the game, surprisingly going on a run in the 3rd hour of play. However, Pearl and Donnie are notably better. As the Black Mariah becomes swelling with activity, Donnie leans back, rolling up his sleeves.
Ha! Now this is what I was looking for, finally some folks worth their weight. Ha, yes indeed. How about we raise the stakes again? I'd like to really test your mettle Pearl. Lucy, you've played thus far, no doubt the Light does indeed shine favorably on you, but beware the shadows that lurk when the Luna reaches its peak. I give you fair warning, I'll be ruthless going forward.
How bout we take a break and come back at it in full force, in say, oh half an arn?! I've need of a drink and to stretch my legs.

Fox
The small girl that Lucy Lightbringer was talking to much early in the day comes in with a little boy. The small boy whispers into her ear, then points at you, and does his best bear impersonation. Little Lucy giggles, then skips over. She pulls a small jar out from under her light pink cloak.
Excuse me sir. My friend told me that you can turn into a bear. Do you think you can scare some of my friends? We're playing ghost in the graveyard, and it would just tickle me silly, for you to give em a good scare. I've this jar of honey....
You note, it's pretty late for little kids to be about and about.

"I think the next game will be too rich for my blood, but I will go see if Jarke wants to play."
Lucy leaves the table and heads over the bar where she greets Jarke, "Jarke my large scaly friend, I was just playing a rousing game of cards. However Light knows your skills with cards shine greater than my own, perhaps you want to join in the next game in my place, but be warned Donnie and Pearl know their stuff."

Jarke finds himself confused and ashamed of any coersive effects that Lorah gives off.
Jarke speaks remembering, "Umm, yeah, I'd ummm, help. Ingram, Ingrim... You know during the past few weeks I'm pretty sure I've heard Alain talk about how his old master was a wizard named Ingrim. I don't think I remember him being a necromancer, is Ingrim a popular human name?"
Jarke continues...
"You know I think I remember hearing about his master disintegrating someone...some guy named... who had a purple dagger..."
Jarke looks at Lorah's locket and then up to her face and his jaw drops..."Your brother was..."

As Lucy comes up to and speaks to Jarke, Lucy should sense some awkwardness on Jarke's behalf after what he just relayed to Lorah.

Oh I know none who are desperate enough but a few who are brave. But as I said, capturing such a creature cannot but end in disaster. Why are you so set upon this course of action?
Alain is both amused and bemused with his new companion.

Yes Jarke, my brother was Karlo Galt, or as some know him the blade, or as he called himself KGB. Donnie is my other brother, not my lover. We come here in seek of revenge. But it is not blood from Pearl we want, Donnie only wishes to beat her fair and square. As for Ingram, he shall pay for his murder... Jarke (and Lucy who overhears the last bit), you notice a coldness enter her as she finishes her statement. Tak continues his conversation with Alain... As I've said goodman, I work for a...But is cut off by Pearl... Excuse me Tak, so nice to see you again, but Might I a word with Alain and his companions? Alain? She leaves you to finish your conversation politely with Tak and heads behind the bar. She pours a cup of coffee, adds a shot of hard stuff, and a few chocolates. She sips the coffee, resting her elbows on the bar. The place is nearly packed now, and live music is being played by a halfling blooded couple. The show is rather bawdy. {Spoiler}Not too railroad you, but the situation seems to present itself for the party to converse among themselves and then with Pearl.
